The Bike Box Project
PEDALING FOR PARKINSON'S
A 501c3 Nonprofit
FOUNDED BY BETHANY RICHARDS
Finding out years ago that my father has PD, I attached a donation box to my bicycle and began pedaling towards a cure. In just 4 years I have raised over $50,000! My goal is to pedal to every small town USA, spreading awareness and raising money to support people in the community with PD and to help fund research to eliminate PD.
Donations collected go to assisting people locally with Parkinson’s Disease and to the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s research. Over 5 million people worldwide have Parkinson’s Disease. Thank you for your consideration in contributing to this important cause.
The Bike Box Project is a 501(C)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds to assist local needs of people with PD and Parkinson’s research. Contributions are deductible in accordance with current tax law. Our tax ID is 83-1678144.
STARTING JANUARY 2020
We are learning every day that there are ways in which people with Parkinson’s disease can enhance their daily quality of life and even build impressive power, strength, flexibility and speed! By exercising with coaches who know the ropes, you can fight your way out of the corner and start to feel and function better. Boxing works by moving your body in all planes of motion while continuously changing the routine as you progress through the workout. These classes have proven that anyone, at any level of Parkinson’s, can actually lessen their symptoms and lead a healthier/happier life. Contact us at 571-215-9282 or on FACEBOOK
